Thy Will Be Done...God So Loved the World

The Savior prayed to the Father "nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done." May we remember "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (Scriptures Luke 22:42 ; John 3:16 ).

The Savior was obedient in all things that were asked of him, and because of that, we can return and live with him and our Father in Heaven again. The Lord doesn't ask us to go through what the Savior went through, just wants us to be obedient to his commandments. May we remember the sacrifice of the Savior, and as we pray to our Father in Heaven in gratitude for the Savior's sacrifice, may we feel of his love for us.

Find out more about Christ. Along with the Bible, his words are in the Book of Mormon. Find out for yourself and read the Promise of the Book of Mormon online now at or get a free copy at
