The Christmas Shelf - A Story

A few years ago I wrote a Christmas Story called The Christmas Shelf. It is about a Family who seems to have lost their way, but who find it again after each person separately and together have some experiences with items on a small Christmas shelf (how they got there is alluded to). They learn to feel the spirit they once felt in their lives, and finally (not saying how) find the true meaning of Christmas.  You can find the full text of the story here
Here is a quote from the Story:

"She sat for awhile and thought about that night long ago. There was a longing in her, one that seemed to be filled when she thought of the Babe in Bethlehem. She smiled when she thought that the Savior had been just like each of her children once, young and helpless. How it would have been to see and to hold that sacred child on that night. He was no doubt being watched over by a Heavenly Father who loved her enough to send his only son to save each of hers. "

It is a gift I give to each of you this Christmas Season. You can find the full text of the story here

I hope you like the story,
