Promises for us and our Dead when attending the Temple

May we attend the temple often to feel of the presence of the Lord. President Hinckley has said that the work we do for the dead in the Temple is the closest we can come to the Sacrifice the Savior made for us, because we are doing things for others that they cannot do for themselves. We become Saviors on Mount Zion.

The Temple is the House of The Lord, where we can go to feel of his presence. "And inasmuch as my people build a house unto me in the name of the glory shall rest upon it; Yea, and my presence shall be there, for I will come into it, and all the pure in heart that shall come into it shall see God" (D & C 97:15-16 )
