Jesus as a Little Child

We are told precious little about the Savior growing up, but we must assume that he was taught well by his parents and by the spirit to be able to teach the elders in the temple when he was twelve.

Being taught by his parents, the spirit, and undoubtedly by the Father himself, we later know he knew who he was at the start of his ministry when he fasted for 40 days and was tempted of the adversary, for he rebuked Satan for tempting God.

He then became the man who it was said of: "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him." (Acts 10:38 http://www.lds.org/scriptures/nt/acts/10.38

May God be with us, also, as we strive to emulate the Savior in our own lives.
