The Good Shepherd who knows all of you-and loves you

Our Shepherd is our Savior, our Redeemer, our all. He is the author of our salvation, and intimately connected to each of our lives. He has felt exactly your pains, sorrows, sins, and beckons for you to come unto him and have your burdens lifted. He loves you with a love you cannot comprehend until you have felt it. And then comes a remembrance of his love, that love that extends from before the foundations of the world into the eternities. He is the good Shepherd. What wonderful words of peace and blessings come from him.

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of ddeath, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever." (Psalms 23 ).
