An example of Faith in Christ from the Book of Mormon

May we be grateful for the examples of following the Lord given to us in the Book of Mormon, as with Nephi.  "behold, I took the compass, and it did work whither I desired it. And it came to pass that I prayed unto the Lord...And it came to pass that I, Nephi, did guide the ship, that we sailed again towards the promised land.  And it came to pass that after we had sailed for the space of many days we did arrive at the promised land; and we went forth upon the land, and did pitch our tents; and we did call it the promised land." (1 Nephi 18:21-23 )

From these and other examples of faith, the "most correct of any book on earth" was brought to pass, and the lessons contained in its pages will increase our faith, clarify the principles of Christ's gospel, and will lead us closer to him.

We have the ability to develop the faith of these early prophets, to become as they were, and to have their strength in the Lord.  That is what the Book of Mormon can teach us.

And if we rely on the Lord, he will guide us to our heavenly home, to dwell with our families and Savior forever.
