To be in the Presence of the Anointed One

"Anointed One" comes from Hebrew and means "Messiah." "Wherefore, redemption cometh in and through the Holy Messiah; for he is full of grace and truth." (2 Nephi 2:6 ).

"And he shall be called Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Father of heaven and earth, the Creator of all things from the beginning;" (Mosiah 3:8 )

I know the Savior, Jesus Christ lives. He is real, and works today for our salvation. Prophets and Apostles have seen the Risen Lord in this dispensation, and he can be close to each one us, the children he loves, through the spirit. And there are times when, even though we cannot see him, we can feel of his presence through the veil, most especially in the temple, his holy house. The Sacred, Holy, Annointed One who is there to comfort us, strengthen us, lift us and to save us.

That presence fills the soul with a feeling of love that calms all fears, comforts all pains, and leaves behind a knowledge that the Savior is real, that he is there to comfort us. And each time you feel the spirit, it is a reminder of the reality of Jesus Christ, for that is how it feels to be in his presence. May we all seek after that and be filled with that love that is beyond compare.
