Can we imagine at the end of our lives, being welcomed back to our heavenly home, into the arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ, to dwell with him and our Father in Heaven together with our families forever? To feel of our Savior's love as he embraces us. May he say unto us, as in the parable of the talents;
"Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." (Matthew 25:23 http://bit.ly/15yZetf)
And in the Book of Mormon "Yea, verily I say unto you, if ye will come unto me ye shall have eternal life. Behold, mine arm of mercy is extended towards you, and whosoever will come, him will I receive; and blessed are those who come unto me " (3 Nephi 9:14 http://bit.ly/17A6NCE)
The Savior Pleads for us to come unto him. He knows if we do, we will return to him and our heavenly parents, together with our families, ancestors, and posterity. What a joyous reunion that will be. And we will forever be engaged in lifting and strengthening others. May we ever come unto the Savior, and find the living water.
Now there are some people who struggle with trials, who may think they can't make it. You are being too hard on yourself. The Lord knows you, and you will make it. Your trials are enough. Enduring is good enough, as Elder Holland said in a recent conference talk, that trying is good enough. You will still be with the Savior in heaven. For he that knows your trials will make it so. What peace will fill your hearts when at the last day he embraces you.
