"feel of the prints of the nails in my hands and in my feet"

In the old world, the Savior, when appearing to the apostles, beckoned them to feel of the prints of the nails in his hands and in his feet, saying "Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have." (Luke 24:39)

Then, in the Book of Mormon he appeared and said to them "Arise and come forth unto me, that ye may thrust your hands into my side, and also that ye may feel the prints of the nails in my hands and in my feet, that ye may know that I am the God of Israel, and the God of the whole earth, and have been slain for the sins of the world." (3 Nephi 11:14)

And in our modern day, Christ appeared to Joseph Smith multiple times, even as he was with other preople.

Additionally, we have accounts by Apostles and Prophets, such as Elder Melvin J Ballard, accounts where they felt the prints in the Savior's hands and feet as well.

The Same Jesus Christ who appeared to his apostles in the old world appeared to people in the new world, and have again appeared to prophets in our day.

As this great latter-day work unfolds, we can look forward to the day when he will appear again, for as Revelations 1:7 says:

"Behold, he cometh with clouds;(JST with all the angels of heaven) and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him"

May we ever know that Christ is real, follow him, and look forward to that time when he comes again.
