Christ our Savior, the Firstfruits of them that Slept

"But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept." (1 Corinthians 15:20 https://www.lds.org/scriptures/nt/1-cor/15.20)

How glorious are the words spoken by the angel, "He is not here: for he is risen!" (Matthew 28:6 https://www.lds.org/scriptures/nt/matt/28.6)

The Savior had triumphantly claimed the victory over sin and death, so that all would be resurrected, and if we repent, to gain eternal life and exaltation.

What wondrous words proclaimed this ultimate, eternal, infinite triumph.

May we ever follow Christ, follow his commandments, and stand strong for our beliefs.  He will ever be at our side as we do.  For he lives, and seeks to help us return to him and the presence of the Father.  The victory has already been won.

May we ever remember that.
