The Fulness of the Everlasting Gospel of Christ again on the Earth

A Prophet in the Americas recorded the following scripture;

"Yea, even six hundred years from the time that my father left Jerusalem, a prophet would the Lord God raise up among the Jews—even a Messiah, or, in other words, a Savior of the world" (1 Nephi 10).

Several years after Nephi said this, King Benjamin, another prophet, said the following about Christ;

"And moreover, I say unto you, that the time shall come when the knowledge of a Savior shall spread throughout every nation, kindred, tongue, and people" (Mosiah 3:20)

We are seeing that in our day today.  Millions have that knowledge of the Savior.  But that is not the end of the Story.  Revelations tells us the following;

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people" (Revelations 14:6).

Today that prophecy has been fulfilled.  We are living in the dispensation of the fulness of times, with all of the blessings of previous gospel dispensations.  The angel has flown in the midst of heaven, many, in fact, including God the Father, and his son, Jesus Christ, who appeared to Joseph Smith in response to his humble prayer.

The angel Moroni gave him the plates, which he translated by the gift and power of God to bring forth the Book of Mormon.  Joseph was given many revelations and experiences from God which restored the fulness of the Gospel.

The Doctrine and Covenants records the following about Joseph Smith:

"has sent the fulness of the everlasting gospel, which it contained, to the four quarters of the earth" (D & C 135:3).

We are engaged in a great work, the gathering of Israel in preparation for the Second Coming of the Lord.  Revelations says the following about that;

"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him:" (Revelations 1:7).

Christ will continue as the head of the church when he comes to rule and reign for a thousand years upon the earth, and he will draw all men unto him, and the sacred work done in temples will be completed in that time, and after the final battles, Christ will present the kingdom to the Father, and will say "The Work is Done."

May we ever be grateful that the fulness of the Gospel is again on the earth, with all of the blessings of the Church during Christ's time.

May we ever follow Christ, and gain a sure testimony of his gospel and his work, is my prayer.
