Mormon's Invitation to come unto Christ, and be baptized

We have Moroni's Challenge, but there is also a challenge given by Mormon, originally for the descendants of the Lamanites, but equally applicable to us. Read below;

"Therefore repent, and be baptized in the name of Jesus, and lay hold upon the gospel of Christ, which shall be set before you, not only in this record but also in the record which shall come unto the Gentiles from the Jews, which record shall come from the Gentiles unto you." (Mormon 7:8).

Such a sweet, succinct invitation, given 400 years after the coming of Christ, to read the Bible and the Book of Mormon, to be baptized, and to come unto the gospel of Christ.  He later gives the promise below;

"if it so be that ye believe in Christ, and are baptized, first with water, then with fire and with the Holy Ghost, following the example of our Savior, according to that which he hath commanded us, it shall be well with you in the day of judgment. Amen" (Mormon 7:10)

Such is the importance of being baptized by proper authority that Mormon mentions it twice here, and then says that all would be well with us at the last judgement day.  What a wonderful promise.

May we ever follow Christ, is my prayer.  He majestically pleads with us to come unto him.  For he has already paid the price, and we can enter without money and without price, as the Bible says.
