"A Man of Sorrows, and acquainted with Grief" so he can comfort us in our trials

The Savior has experienced everything we can ever, and is so loving as to be able to reach into the depths of our souls and heal the pain we do not show, the sorrow that is only able to be healed by him, the fear only calmed by him.  This is the Power of the atonement, to change people's hearts.  He knows.

As the Prophet says "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief...Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows...But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:3)

May we ever turn to the Savior in all things, and be comforted through the spirit, be lifted, strengthened, and truly loved by a Savior who is real, and is there for each of us.
